Spanish guitarist Miguel Trapaga will perform at the Playhouse, accompanied by the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, on Wednesday 17th October, to celebrate the National Day of Spain.

The concert will also commemorate the 20th and 10th anniversaries respectively of the deaths of two of the best Spanish guitarists: Andres Segovia and Narciso Yepes.

Professor Trapaga will play works by Llobet, Aguado, Falla, Debussy, Turina, Tarraga and Albeniz. Together With the CSO, conducted by Tor Fromyhr, he will perform Rodrigo's acclaimed 'Concierto do Aranjuez', one of the most performed pieces of classical music ever.
