The patron may hold tickets purchased in person provided all relevant concession identification has been presented. Tickets purchased via telephone may be posted for an additional fee of $1.10 per transaction, provided no concession tickets are included in the booking. Tickets sold at a concession rate may be collected from Canberra Ticketing or the venue box office upon presentation of appropriate identification.
All tickets purchased online must be collected in person from Canberra Ticketing or from the venue box office half an hour prior to the start of the performance. Tickets purchased online cannot be posted.
Canberra Ticketing is open during standard business hours and for half an hour following the commencement of performances in the Canberra Theatre or The Playhouse.
For performances in particular venues the collection options are as follows:
Canberra Theatre Tickets may be collected during Canberra Ticketing standard hours of operation and up until half an hour following the start of the performance. For Sunday performances Canberra Ticketing will be open 1 hour prior to the scheduled start and for half an hour following the beginning of the performance. Tickets not collected by half an hour following the start of the performance will be forwarded to the Front of House Concierge for collection in the foyer. The Playhouse Tickets may be collected during Canberra Ticketing standard hours of operation and up until half an hour following the start of the performance. For Sunday performances Canberra Ticketing will be open 1 hour prior to the scheduled start and for half an hour following the start of the performance. Tickets not collected by half an hour following the start of the performance will be forwarded to the Front of House Concierge for collection in the foyer.
The Courtyard Studio Tickets may be collected during Canberra Ticketing standard hours of operation, up until 5:00pm on the day of the performance, excluding Sundays for which tickets will need to be collected by 5:00pm, Saturday. Alternatively, tickets may be collected from the Box Office at the Courtyard Studio half an hour prior to the scheduled start of the performance.
Erindale Theatre Tickets may be collected during Canberra Ticketing standard hours of operation, up until 12 midday on the day of the performance, excluding Saturdays and Sundays for which tickets will need to be collected by 12 midday on Friday.
Alternatively, tickets may be collected from the box office at Erindale Theatre one hour prior to the scheduled start of the performance.
The Australian Choreographic Centre Tickets may be collected during Canberra Ticketing standard hours of operation, up until 5.00pm on the day of the performance, excluding Sundays for which tickets will need to be collected by 5:00pm, Saturday. Alternatively, tickets may be collected from the Box Office at the Australian Choreographic Centre, Gorman House, half an hour prior to the scheduled start of the performance. [Back to Top]
Tickets purchased through Canberra Ticketing by telephone or online attract a $7.20 per transaction booking fee. If booking by telephone you can elect to have non-concession tickets posted to you at an additional cost of $1.10 per transaction. Tickets purchased in person at Canberra Ticketing, or at venue Box Offices, do not attract a booking fee.

All transactions are final. There will be no refunds on completed bookings unless the performance is cancelled. No refund will be given for tickets downgraded to a performance or concession type of lesser value. [Back to Top]
Ticket exchange policies vary per production. Please contact Canberra Ticketing for details pertaining to the production you have selected. For productions in which exchange is authorised, the exchange can only take place between two performances of the same production.
All ticket exchanges must be carried out in person at Canberra Ticketing a minimum of 24 hours prior to the ticketed performance. An administrative fee of $2.20 per ticket will be charged and seating cannot be guaranteed.
Should a ticket be exchanged to a performance or concession type of higher value, the patron will be liable for the administrative fee plus the difference in price. [Back to Top]
Proof of eligibility of concession must be presented to Canberra Ticketing staff upon collection of tickets. Concession availability is at the discretion of the production promoter and may vary per production or performance. Some concession types and promotional offers will not be available online. Concessions available online may be limited. All available concessions can be purchased over the phone or in person.
Unless otherwise stated, Child's concessions are available to patrons aged 15 years and under. Seniors discounts apply only to holders of ACT Seniors Cards. Student discounts apply only to full time students. U27 Tickets are available to patrons aged 27 and under.
For performances where family tickets are available, they may be purchased to cover entry for two adults and two children, where the children are of an age eligible for the Child's rate. Family tickets are not available online but may be purchased over the phone or in person. [Back to Top]

Canberra Theatre Centre believes in fostering an appreciation of the performing arts in young audiences as well as providing an environment in which patrons can enjoy live theatre.
Everyone attending a paid performance at Canberra Theatre Centre, including children, must hold a valid ticket for that performance except breastfeeding babes in arms (under 12 months), who will be admitted to performances to be nursed in a parent's arms. Babes in arms must remain in their parent's arms at all times.
